Common Uses of TurboSonic Vibration Therapy
December 15, 2008
TurboSonic Vibration Therapy provides the first safe, effective way to excite human cells. This new technology accelerates the body’s natural healing response, increases cellular oxygen uptake, enhances cellular nutrient uptake, stimulates cellular fluid movement and facilitates cellular waste removal. As a result, the new cells are more resilient, more vibrant, and function together as a healthier, longer lasting body.
Of the 75 ~100 trillion cells in the human body, 40% to 50% are bacteria,
necessary for the assimilation of food. Another 40% to 45% is composed of blood, lymphatic, and spinal fluids. The remaining 10% is comprised of solid tissues of muscle, bone, organs, brain and skin. Human cells go through their own life cycle. They are created, then wear out and are replaced in a cycle that varies from two weeks to seven years, in accordance with the built-in DNA cell replication blueprint. Vigorous exercise can only affect a small percentage of these cells.
Degenerative disease conditions, accelerated aging, and all diminished capacities ultimately can be attributed to insufficient cellular stimulation. As the living cell struggles with poor nutrition, low oxygen levels, environmental toxins and stagnation of lymphatic fluids, disease conditions develop which shorten the life span. Whole Body Vibration can reverse that process.
Whole Body Vibration was first developed in the Soviet Union to condition Soviet cosmonauts to withstand the effects of weightlessness in outer space for months at a time.
* The Soviets conducted rigorous scientific studies spanning several decades that confirmed the remarkable restorative powers and safety of whole body vibration.
* Soviet cosmonauts have lived in space for more a year (420 days) without suffering the serious health effects of weightlessness. American astronauts who did not use whole body vibration conditioning were able to live in space for only 120 days due to muscle weakness and lowered bone density.
* Researchers in Germany developed the first commercial whole body vibrational device, driven by electrical motors based on simple mechanical principles.
* Scientists in South Korea have developed a more sophisticated patented technology that eliminates many of the limitations of earlier vibrational devices.
* The remarkable increase in effectiveness of this new TurboSonic approach has been demonstrated in studies in Korea.
Why TurboSonic?
* Unlike mechanical vibration training devices which can be extremely noisy, TurboSonic vibration produces almost no audible sound.
* Mechanical vibration training units operate at frequencies above 20 Hz, which require that subjects do push-ups or lift weights on the plate with affected muscles within 24″ of the plate to affecta training response in the muscles.
* TurboSonic vibration is most effective on all muscle groups with the subject standing upright.
* No muscular exertion is required with Sonic vibration
* Muscle groups are worked selectively by varying frequencies in a range broader than those available to mechanical vibration devices.
* Intensity can be adjusted to enable fine-tuning or body sculpting, a capacity difficult to accomplish with mechanical vibration devices.
* The seven TurboSonic training sequences were designed by the Korean Qigong Association to direct the flow of vital energy to specific sites in the body during the selected mode of operation.
* One stands upright on the platform plate.
* Each training session is 10 minutes.
FDA Approved
TurboSonic is registered with the FDA as a Class 1 powered exercise equipment/Vibrational Therapy Device and can be billed by licensed Health Practitioners for therapy sessions under CPT codes for procedures, 97110, 97112 and 97530. Registration Number 890.5380.
Applications
* General Training: Improves body balance, flexibility and general health.
* Strength Training:Strengthens all muscles.
* Competitive Sports: Stimulates short-burst power required for competitive running or jumping.
* Appearance: Dissolves excess fat and cellulite effortlessly, thickens and tightens skin.
* Mood: Improves how one feels and fosters a sense of well-being.
Rehabilitation, Revitalization, Rejuvenation and Recovery
TurboSonic Vibration Therapy Stimulates the Body’s Own Healing Response
* Prevents loss of muscular strength, which commonly results from surgery due to lack of exercise during the recovery period.
* By exercising the whole body, this system improves lymph and blood circulation to promote more rapid and complete recovery.
* Vibration Therapy is widely used by many professional athletic teams to maintain higher levels of fitness (despite injuries) and to hasten recovery from injuries.
* Human growth hormone released by whole body vibration stimulates regeneration of the skin, tones the muscles, restores some organ functions, and accelerates the healing process.
TurboSonic Vibration Therapy releases beneficial hormones and neurotransmitters:
* Serotonin: “the hormone of happiness, relaxation and well-being.”
* Neurotrophine: a hormone that stimulates brain activity.
* Testosterone: the male hormone that keeps men and women frisky and feeling young, increases 7%.
* Human Growth Hormone - dramatically increases, up to 460%.
* IGF-1: another growth hormone that slows the aging process and in many cases, even reverses its effects.
* TurboSonic Vibration Therapy slows aging by also improving blood and lymph circulation,
digestion, and muscular flexibility.

Clinical Applications of TurboSonic Vibration Therapy
Vibration Therapy is used in the medical field for the treatment and prevention of a variety of illnesses, injuries, and adverse health conditions.
Emphysema:
Ordinarily, patients with emphysema find it nearly impossible to undertake any kind of physical exercise. TurboSonic Vibration Therapy enables patients to achieve most of the benefits of a regular workout and helps them to do cardio-fitness training such as walking or even running.
MS / ALS:
Patients with Multiple Sclerosis and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis are unable to train because the nerves are no longer capable of controlling the muscles properly. TurboSonic Vibration activates the muscles directly without relying on the nervous system. Patients tend to feel better, have more energy to cope with everyday activities, experience less pain and are less dependent on others.
Osteoporosis:
Millions of Americans, especially women, are at risk of developing this disease, which results from the decalcification of the bones due to hormonal imbalances. The bones become fragile with a tendency to break easily. TurboSonic Vibration Therapy increases bone density, usually reversing the effects of osteoporosis.
Arthritis and Rheumatism:
TurboSonic Vibration Therapy can reduce the pain and discomfort of these conditions. It has been proven to increase blood circulation in the joints and dramatically improve flexibility and range of motion.
Lower Back Pain:
TurboSonic Vibration Therapy can strengthen the weakened lower back muscles that cause back pain. Patients with an acute back hernia should not use Vibration Therapy.
Pelvic Instability:
This condition usually results from softening of the connective tissue during pregnancy. TurboSonic Vibration Therapy quickly brings the hormonal system into balance, enabling connective tissue to recover its strength and firmness.
Excess Body Fat:
TurboSonic Vibration Therapy works several ways to dissolve excess body fat; it increases metabolism which burns calories more rapidly; increases blood circulation and lymphatic drainage thereby removing toxins faster. Human Growth Hormone secretion increases dramatically (460%). Excess body fat melts away effortlessly. People who use the TurboSonic Vibration Trainer for 10 minutes, three times a week, lose significantly more fat than those who engage in aerobic activity for one hour three times a week!
Cellulite:
Those lumpy fatty deposits that form an unattractive dimpling effect around the thighs and other parts simply melt away under TurboSonic Vibration Therapy.
Stress:
Modern life is stressful, causing the release of toxic stress hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine, which throw the immune system out of balance and destroy brain cells by the millions. Sonic Vibration Therapy increases human growth hormone and serotonin (the “happiness, relaxation and well-being hormone”) secretion, lowers cortisol and epinephrine secretion 31%, and enhances circulation, all of which counteract the effects of stress on the body and spirit.
The TurboSonic Vibration Therapy Trainer stimulates muscle groups with precise vertical up and down vibrational frequencies ranging from 6 to 45 Hz. Using EMG research technology, optimal levels of muscular activity at each frequency have been defined by the Korean Qigong Association. By programming varying lengths of exposure to certain lower frequencies, specific muscle groups can be vigorously stimulated in a remarkably brief period of time to increase strength, endurance, and vitality. Other effects include accelerated adipose tissue reduction and enhanced recovery and rehabilitation from stressful sports or surgery.

Ergonomics Job Analysis and Assessment
October 8, 2008
Injury prevention and ergonomic programs are designed to reduce the number of injuries occurring in the workplace.
Since the best way to treat an injury is to never get it in the first place, a proactive approach involving strategic planning to minimize injury should be taken by all employers and employees, especially where the risk of injury is high. This would include workers who sit for extended periods of time, perform repetitive movements, and workers who lift or move heavy objects.
ERGONOMICS JOB ANALYSIS & ASSEMSSMENT
An ergonomics analysis incorporates a root-cause analysis in the determination of key work related stressors and contributors to the development of musculoskeletal and nervous disorders.
We use various methods of analysis to determine the key stressors and risk factors per job or task. Stressors are quantified and prioritized to assist in the development of appropriate controls. Specific analysis techniques may include biomechanical and computerized posture analysis and standardized evaluation tools. Collected data is compared to scientific information and normative or anthropometric tables, when available and appropriate.
Our reports outline risk prioritization and primary concerns for the job(s) reviewed, and suggest practical solutions to remedy these concerns. Any recommendations provided by us are designed to meet task, process, production, and budgetary goals.
If you need assistance with the implementation of our recommendations, we can refer you to vendor contacts that can assist in providing solutions designed to fit your needs.
Furthermore, we can offer the treatment and rehabilitation of any work related musculoskeletal injuries, aches, and pains, as well as preventative medicine by prescribing posture improvement exercises, all which will serve to improve work productivity.
AN ON-SITE ERGONOMICS ASSESSMENT INCLUDES:
*Optional Lecture on the Ergonomics
*Study the way each user works
*Anthropometry and computerized posture assessment
*Go through a Workstation Best Practice Training module with each user, that they then sign to say they have received and understood the necessary training, in accordance with any Regulations.
*Put right straight away anything that can be done, such as adjusting the chair correctly, moving the mouse closer or repositioning the telephone to the correct side.
*Write a detailed Report of what has been changed at the workstation, what problems there might be that need to be addressed.
*Make recommendations as how to resolve any outstanding issues.
*Make recommendations of ergonomic and efficient office furniture.
*Make recommendations for the treatment and rehabilitation of work related musculoskeletal injuries.
*Make recommendations for posture improvement exercises to prevent work related stress.
*Give time frames for recommended actions and degrees of risk associated with each user.
What is the Sleep Clinic?

TWINSAVER MAGIC FOAM PILLOW AND MATTRESS is a new shock-absorbing material with low elasticity and high density. It has been used as a seat to protect astronauts from strong impact when their spaceship re-enters the atmosphere.
Conventional polyurethane becomes flat and decreases its stable strength, while highly-elastic latex is heavy. But the low-elastic, high-density shock-absorbing MAGIC FOAM maintains its high stable strength even after long use.
By perceiving any change in body weight and temperature and redistributing the load, it reduces the pressure on the body and does not disturb blood circulation. The orthopedically shaped pillow is designed to help restore and maintain your neck’s normal curvature.
